Classes and Clinics
Join us at 10:30 am at The Bike Lane in Reston or at The Bike Lane Springfield for our Sunday Maintenance Classes. Learn how to fix a flat, clean and lube your bike, and do minor trail-side adjustments! Bring your bike if you like.. Space is limited. Please see schedule to choose location and dates. The Bike Lane requires a $25 non-refundable deposit to sign up for our maintenance class. However, as our gift to you, you will receive a $25 gift card to use towards any purchase when you attend the class. Are you interested in gaining more confidence on your bike? Perhaps you’re interested in meeting other cyclists who are at the same level so you can start riding together. Or maybe you just haven’t been on the bike in a while and need a refresher. This small class, taught by a League of American Cyclists certified instructor on 9:00 am will take you through some basic bike handling skills that will help you feel more confident about venturing out on your bike. The two-hour course will feature drills in a parking lot followed by a short trail ride to practice new skills. Participants must bring their own bike, helmet, and water. It's Happy Hour Craft Night at The Bike Lane Reston! Join us on Tuesday, February 12th for a fun evening with friends making a Tree of Life on a bike wheel! We are excited to be partnering with People for Bikes to do a "Round Up" program. The idea is to ask you to round up your purchase $1, $5, or $10, or make a donation in any amount. All of the donations will go to MORE (the premier mountain bicycling club in the Mid-Atlantic region) to help build pump tracks and youth riding facilities in Northern Virginia.
