Details
Remedy 7 is a mountain bike built for mountain towns. Our best-value Remedy has all the performance features you could want for a ridiculously fun time on the most technical trails. A long travel 160mm RockShox fork, 150mm rear suspension, dropper post, and a 1x12 SRAM Eagle drivetrain check all the all-mountain boxes.
It's right for you if...
Every ride is recess. You've graduated Mountain Biking 101, and now want a real trail bike you can throw around—one that's not shy about trying new lines, leaving the ground, and clearing obstacles. You want a solid parts group and a durable frame, and you want it at a great value.
The tech you get
A durable and lightweight Alpha Platinum Aluminum frame, 160mm RockShox Yari RC fork, and 150mm of rear travel. Plus, a 1x12 SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain, SRAM Level T hydraulic disc brakes, a dropper post, and Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheels with a 54-tooth Rapid Drive hub for fast engagement.
The final word
The frame is trustworthy and the parts are solid. But what really makes this bike great is that it handles and rides like a bike that costs twice as much. That's because it's designed the same way as our top-end Remedy: for a playful ride you can count on when the trail gets rowdy.
Why you'll love it
1 - Remedy 7 combines an ultra-capable frame and shock with tough, no-fuss parts that keep the stoke high and the cost low
2 - 29er wheels are great for other people, but 27.5? wheels are livelier and more fun on rugged trails
3 - The shifter-style, underbar remote dropper post lever is super intuitive and easy to use

Comments:
such an awesome bike if trek only put Avid 5's on this bike it would be so much nicer... avid 5's are not the best but they will work till you can save for a more pricy set... avid 3's though they will stop you, your hands get tired (death grip... 800mm handle bars would be nice but eh...it would also be nice if it came with the hardware to convert to 142x12... as for the stock tires, i like them

Comments:
This bike is solid and tough. Well-balanced suspension. You can fly down hill heavy loaded with tree roots and the suspension absorbs all the bumps and tracks like a champ. This bike also climbs like a champ lock out the shocks and have at it. The handlebars are a little wide 28 7/8 makes it a little tight on some of the single-track trails.
