SRAM X7 2x10 Front Derailleur (High Direct-mount, Dual-pull) 38/36T
This item is currently not available.

Details

SRAM's X7 Front Derailleur is stiff, light and strong. It provides crisp, precise action for fast, smooth and reliable shifting season in and season out. This 38/36T version is the one you want if you are running a low-range double-ring setup.

Capacity is calculated by subtracting your smallest chainring's tooth count from the largest chainring's tooth count. Example: 46/34/24 chainrings: 46 - 24 = 22-tooth capacity.

About Me

Comments:

This front derailleur came stock on my Scott Big Ed and was my first experience with SRAM shifting products. Within 100 miles of use on my 2x10 during a down shift the cage broke at the top pivot making it useless. In 30 years of riding road, mountain and now fat bikes I have never witnessed a front derailleur brake. In the future I will continue to purchase Shimano products.

Comments:

I got this brand new and within 4 months of regular usage 2 times a week, the cage broke open. SRAM sent me a new one, but we'll see how long that one lasts.
